"We've all been given a gift, the gift of life.
What we do with our lives is our gift back"
- Edo

As the interdependent nature of humanity and all life becomes increasingly obvious, my awareness of inequality and scarcity for some - nature and human beings becomes more and more important.

With that in mind I am choosing through my work to support two charities that are close to my heart.

TREESISTERS - Making restoration the new normal

TreeSisters is a UK registered social change and reforestation charity that places tropical forest restoration into everyone?s hands. Through individuals and businesses that give back to Nature every month, TreeSisters has so far funded the planting of over 15 million trees across 12 locations in Brazil, Borneo, Cameroon, India, Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar, Nepal and West Papua.

"Please wake me into wakeful gratitude as I learn how to merge with you" Claire Dubois

WOMEN IN PRISON'S UK - Centred on women's experiences & ambitious for radical change

I gift to Women in Prison's and offer my time and energy in holding circle spaces for the women.

Women in Prison is a national charity that supports women affected by the criminal justice system and campaigns to end the harm caused to women, their families and our communities by imprisonment.

"Taking the most hurt people out of society and punishing them in order to teach them how to live within society is, at best, futile. Whatever else a prisoner knows, she knows everything there is to know about punishment because that is exactly what she has grown up with. Whether it is childhood sexual abuse, indifference, neglect; punishment is most familiar to her" Chris Tchaikovsky

This is my personal act towards care and justice.
