Slow Flow Yoga Session
A perfect way to wind down at the end of the week. A calming, slow paced style of yoga with asanas (poses). Followed by yin yoga. Within this part of the practice we practice passive postures mostly be based on the floor. The postures are held for a longer period of time allowing a safe stretch through deeper layers – muscles, tendons, fascia, ligaments. The aim with the physical body is to increase awareness, circulation and improve flexibility.
This type of yoga is so beneficial for relaxing the mind, creating a meditative state and a sense of being rather than doing. The class will conclude with focused breath work, guided meditation and time to rest and relax. Come and let the week’s stress wash away. replenish your energy and restore yourself. Ideal for all students including beginners and, especially good for those wanting to increase their flexibility.
